booking info

 Health & Safety

  • From August 2021 please complete pre class health form before attending any class.  This is for data/disclaimer for insurance purposes but also for Track and Trace.
  • Be assured that Elevate Yoga has always taken pre-cautionary measures throughout Covid and will continue to do so, e.g. providing hand sanitiser, adhering to social distance guidelines outdoors and now indoors and wearing mask indoors when moving around venue (e.g. on arriving/leaving and going to toilet etc) and seeking guidance from Scottish Government.
  • Please help us by following a common sense approach too.  At the moment this also includes bringing your own yoga mat although mats can be hired as below and mats will be available for Yoga for Men workshop as small venue.

 Equipment

  • Yoga is pretty low maintenance and fuss-free when it comes to equipment (yay!) You really just need comfy clothes you can move in and be willing to wear bare feet (or socks if uncomfortable doing this). For outdoor yoga you may wish to bring an old towel for underneath your yoga mat, a rainproof layer and basically be ok with being in all weather.

  • For Novembers Yoga & Relaxation workshop blankets would in the past have been provided but please bring your own blanket and cushion/pillow to ensure your safety.  Complimentary eye sleep masks will be washed and available to use as well as candles, tealights, aromatherapy essential oils, incense etc at the venue.

Levels

  • Anyone of any age over 16/gender/ability can attend Elevate Yoga classes/events, however as Yoga for Men is reserved as a male space these workshops are for men or those identifying as male.  If you wish to discuss your needs further there is an opportunity to do so in the health form provided if you feel there is anything relevant to disclose. If you feel you would prefer to discuss this in more detail prior to attending please email Frances at least 24 hrs before.

Booking

  • On receipt of your booking you will receive an emailed receipt to confirm your place, date, venue and time.  Please be aware that Elevate Yoga Scotland runs Friday-Monday so please allow time for this to be processed/acknowledged during opening hours.

  • On cancellation at least 48 hours prior to a class/event, a refund will be given in full.

  • Please provide notifications of cancellations by email or messenger at least 48 hours prior to class/events to guarantee message is received due to location of some of the events.

  • Any cancellations due to any possible future lockdown will be honoured/refunded.

  • Yoga in the Park single classes do not require pre booking of dates, just attend any of the dates that suit you from the current block!

  • There is no need to provide info on attendance when you purchase a Yoga in the Park 3-class-blocks but can't attend a class.  Please note any unused credits from the August/September block will not roll over to future credits/events/classes.

  • 9.30am Hatha Yoga students are welcome to attend later 10.30am Beginners class instead if time is more suitable and 9.30am attendance insn't possible.  Beginners may attend earlier class instead if time is more suitable, providing students are aware of change in level/pace.
